Forum Links

Due to the nature of the forum links being hard to distinguish in a post from regular text, I have been messing around with the css, trying to make them better visible. Currently I can only change all the links to a specific color. I am still digging through the code trying to find the one just for the messages (there are a ton of files and code to go through), rather than every single text link on the forum. So I am asking how you like it currently. I figured the green went with the forums theme.

Also I am keeping this topic unlocked to get more replies on what everyone wants. I would like to here from you on what your preferences are.

What was the color before?  I never had trouble reading it.  I just noticed that it made ALL of the links green, don't like that.

Links used to look like this Basically they used to be slightly bold but the same color as the other text. I really noticed this in the linkin park topic I posted about, because I had the link to the wikipedia article in the first post.

As I mentioned prior my initial goal of doing this was just changing the color of the links within posts not the whole forum, but the guy who coded the theme, didn't do a very good job, so I need to dig around the code to figure it out.

If you are going to be home tonight we can figure it out. I do remember the old color code so it will be easy to change back.

BTW at first I didn't like it (for the whole forum),  but after a while it grew on me, maybe it will with you too. I think the green links makes a nice contrast to the standard white, and it also fits in with the color theme. But as this is your forum, your say will be final.

Ok, changing the link color in the posts is nice, and I agree with that, but till then, change it back please!!!  There is just too much green on the site now.  Till you fix it, everyone just needs to remember that you CAN change the color of any text by using the 'Change Color' drop down menu in the reply, or by using the code "[color=(name of color, ie 'green')] TEXT"[/color]

That is true, but unfortunately it doesn't work for links. I tried to make my previous post that way.

If you are home tonight I can search through the forum code and hopefully find some way to just change the color within the posts. Until then, since this is Justin's site, we will leave it the way it he wants it.

LOL, If we do have to change all of the color of all the links, it should probably be more subtle.  Like a darker grey, or some sort of darker color. just not green!  lol  sorry jeremy, you get props for trying though.
