Me and Emily are planning another Vegas trip in February.  We are thinking about the weekend after Valentines.  Go down Friday and come back on Sunday.  You all should come with us.  I have found a room for $90 for the weekend and I think prices will drop the closer we get to it.  LMK if anyone wants to go.  We would have a blast and we can do a lot down there without gambling, so everyone SHOULD come (Jeremy has an excuse why he can't, but the rest of you don't)   But let me know what everyone thinks, that way we can order show tickets if you want to see a show down there. I'm thinking about staying at Stratosphere because we have stayed there the last 2 years and liked it, but Plaza on Fremont is cheaper. Let me know where you want to stay if you come with me

Well we are thinking about moving the date of the Vegas trip, my sister gets married the next weekend and I could see me getting roped into something and not being able to make it. So we are going to change the date to be more accommodating to anyone who wants to go with us.  The hotel prices go up a little bit in March but fall back in April.  But once we get a set date, we can look for more deals on Expedia, travelocity, or a couple of other sites.  The earlier we book the better seats we can get on shows.

How about, we just had a baby and don't have the time, nor the money.

Well, this msg is for mainly for Nate and Jill, but I found rooms at Circus Circus for $170. for all 3 nights, this appears to be a sale that won't be ending soon.  Only problem is that we would have to say only 2 people in the room.  Stratosphere has rooms for 170 for 4 people but it appears to be a MLK weekend sale and will probably end tomorrow, so we'll see what happens.

We should probably reserve the room after Jill makes sure she will be able to get those days off, we can always cancel the room if we find the prices to drop the closer we get to that weekend, I did that last year, booked a couple months out and then changed the reservation for a better promotion that I found later.

Well I have found some discount passes for Blue Man Group for $92.40 for the best seats there, LMK if you want to go, I'm also looking for discount passes for Criss Angel. I have found some but they expire at the end of February.

EDIT:  With Tax and fees the tickets for Blue Man Group will be $99.90

OK I was able to find tickets for 35% off for Criss Angel, so the Category 2 seats will be $90 But we would have to go Thursday any time or Friday at 10.

We'll just need to set a time to get together and get everything planned out as far as shows go, that way we can get the best seats

I would have to agree with my husband on this one.  I have seen tidbits of the Criss Angel show and it is really weird and he seems to be out of his mind.  Like his show, he is a mind FREAK, with the emphasis obviously on freak!!!

We wouldn't actually be seeing Criss Angel, we would be seeing a Cirque Du Solei that was inspired by Criss Angel.

I found a website that posts links to hotel deals, I have found MGM, Luxor, and a couple other "nicer" hotels for about $250, and I found Excalibur for about the same price as Stratosphere.  Check it out and if you find a better deal than what we have, LMK.  We are currently booked at the Stratosphere in the Premier Guestroom with 2 Queens size beds for $175.27 incl tax. But that might change if Stratosphere lowers their rates again. I have seen rates for the same rooms for $165.00 so we might not get much cheaper.

Well, it looks like I booked at the right time, it went up to $180 not too long after I booked and now it is at $200, that link above this post has links to promo codes for a lot of the Vegas hotels, so check that page out often and maybe we can get into a nicer hotel ie. Luxor, NYNY.or another one.
