A few months back, Major Nelson
gave a warning about the dangers of sharing accounts over Xbox Live as well as Gamesaving to inflate your Gamerscore, saying that action may be taken wherein offenders would have their Gamersore reset. On March 25th,
Microsoft did just that, and started to "correct" the Gamerscores of cheaters, as well as stamping their gamertag on Xbox.com and when viewed on consoles with a "They've been caught cheating." insignia. The Achievements they've unlocked up to that point can't be unlocked again, so they'll have to play other games the normal way, starting from scratch. The accounts don't get a ban, but being branded as a cheater, thats just as bad I think. Check out these two profiles that have been so far.
