This will be the first change of many to our forums to make them a little cleaner.  I will also be adding games to the list at random, untill they are filled, this is just because not many of you (only one actually) have requested games to be put on the list.  But if you do want one put on there, please let me know if it is not there and you have something to say.  So now comes your part, all of you look through them and tell me what you think of the new changes, like I said if you like it, or if you don't I'll probably do it anyway, the whole forum is getting a make over, just one step at a time because it is very time consuming to do it, since I can't seem to get the forums to go in to maintainence mode to do it all in one swoop.  So leave your feed back here and let me know what you think.  Please.  Talk to me.  I am a good listener. I'll give you some cake. (joke from portal for those who don't get it)

I have been wanting to change the forum layout for a while, but never got around to it. I was kinda thinking along the same lines as you, but my personal opinion should be that we have a xbox 360 Retail Games section, Cross-Platform Section, and a XBLA section. Within that I don't see any reason to split up the games, unless we get a lot of posts on a particular topic (such as Halo 3). Looking through the XBLA section earlier, most the boards only had one or two topics.

If we started getting bigger I think I would be more partial to the change you implemented, but where the forum is so small right now, I think it is pointless to be trying to sort them.

EDIT: To simplify my ideas, basically the main boards you have now for the games works great, but just remove the child boards, maybe add one for Halo 3.

Also I got maintainance mode to work without a problem (YAY something I didn't have to fix). Remember since you are an administrator, the only thing that will show you that it is in maintainance mode is up at the top by the "Time Logged In". Other than that you will notice no difference, unless you log out.

The main reason I did it this way, is just to keep all the clutter off of the main boards page, otherwise it will get REALLY messy once I start adding all of the games, don't forget there are over 200 games out now for the 360

Yeah, but my question is... If we are only putting one or two posts in for 200 games does it make sense to have all those games have their own seperate board? I can see it for a big game that we are always talking about like Halo 3, but for example, worms has been there since June, but it only has one post. My suggestion is just have a

Xbox 360 Retail
  -> Any Big Games that we talk about a lot
  -> Halo 3
  random posts

I can see doing it this way if we end up getting bigger, but I think it is pointless to get something setup like achieve360points with the way the forum membership is currently.
