This is why credit cards are a bad idea.  Altho I'm not worried, I'll have it paid off before I get any interest charges.  Here's what I got (and no, I'm not bragging... or am I?  I hate it when people do that)

AMD Opteron 180 - Dual Core 2.4GHz Socket 939
Tyan S2865 Server Motherboard
2GB DDR ECC Memory
MSI Nvidia 8600GT/S 256Meg PCIx 16x Video Card
2x 500GB SATA2 Western Digital HDs
2x 250GB SATA Western Digital HDs
LiteOn DVD-ROM
Sony DRU-810A DVD DL Burner
Soundblaster Audigy Platinum
SoundBlaster Audigy SE
and a floppy.

The 2x 500GB Drives are in raid 1 (mirror) for Slackware
1x 250GB for WinXP (I need it for games)
1x 250GB NTFS partition... I don't know what I really use it for, but I can have both OSes dump in it
The reason for 2 sound cards is that the Audigy SE has great base but no audio in under alsa. The Audigy Platinum for all audio inputs.
I don't know why I have a floppy, I just do... Altho XP needs it for driver installs with my mobo.
Speaking of the mobo, it has 2 Gbit LAN! Unfortunately I don't have a Gigabit Switch or any other computer to share the love.

Lastly I got a new HDTV.  A 46in Sony 3LCD Projection 1080p.  It's pretty freaken sweat! My video card has HDMI out and I run it to the TV and use it as a GIANT second monitor.  Plus because of what I do at RC WIlley I got it as COST! plus a 5year Warranty! WOOT!

Unfortunately because of this I'm out just over 2 grand! And I'm being kicked out... again. So it's going to be hard to pay for everything once I move out.  Oh well, it was worth it.

Nice Setup, I wish my credit card was only 2K, right now it is around 3500, new tv, poker table, laptop, and a few other things, but like you I'll have it paid off before interest hits

You're getting kicked out again?? Wow... So whats the plan? Moving in with Otaku? Still thinking about getting back in with the Air Force?

BTW I hate it when people brag about their stuff too, but I will be bragging about my new computer soon enough, but since I don't have credit cards, mine will be bought outright. YAY

Yeah, I am with you on that Jeremy, I have to pay for everything outright to, unless I get it from Aaron's, but I don't see paying a 35% worth of service and interest fees on top of the computer price, then having to upgrade the mid level HP on top of that.

Actually as far as the Military goes I've decided to stay out for about another year.  Goto school, get some certs.  Plus I just found out there is a high possibility that because of my ELS that even if I do get back in I may only be able to serve 1 enlistment.  If that's the case I will not go back.  It's not worth it to have a job for 4 years then just end up right back at my parents house when I get booted out.
