well i am still having more comp problems. it is with my laptop. for about the last 3 weeks i am getting an error message. i will be on the internet and then my screen will go blue and say that windows has a critical error and that windows needs to shut down to prevent damage. then it will reboot my laptop. anyone have any idea what the problem is or how to fix it? i have updated the bios software and video software. and hp keeps telling me to do different things to avoid me shipping it for repair. so i need some advice

For once, I agree with Justin. If Circuit City will take care of it for free, why not have them do it?  You paid for the warranty, you might as well use it. Make them earn the money from it.

It took them that long to figure that out?? What a joke.

That is why I do my own work.
