Well I Got My Estimate in for my Computer

It came to a whopping... $570. Ugh... Although he did test all my hard drives and he says they are still good (I knew I only bought Western Digitals for a reason). Whew...

They said the motherboard is worth $110, cpu $140, ram $80, new case $90, and $70 for labor. I am a little ticked off because he didn't include the video card, which was probably hit many times by a bouncing heatsink, and one of the memory chips I have in there is still available on Newegg for $80 alone. Let alone my other 512MB.

But, hey, this takes out a third of the price of my new computer. I will be heading back tomorrow to see if he forgot about the video card, or if he chose to leave it out for whatever reason. So hopefully I can get this up a little. But then he did aim really high on the motherboard and cpu, so I don't know if he will be willing to go up at all. I may try to see if I can get something for the hard drives because I don't know how well I trust them with the dents in the top and all the abuse they went through during the shipping.

So if all goes well I should be able to order my computer in a month, just in time for all the Christmas packages coming here, so it will probably take forever to ship everything over here.
