With Apple getting more greedy, a flush of do-it-yourself videos and instruction manuals hit the internet late monday evening, shortly after a new update for the iPhone was released.  The iPhone now works with a number of Cellular companies including T-Mobile, Spring, Verizon and Sprint.  All that is needed is an internet connection, a compatible sim card, and a little patience.  AT&T put out a press release stating it was planning on taking legal action, but no word yet on how they plan on doing this.  My vote, if Apple wants to topple Microsoft, well, they are doing a good job so far.

How can this work in Verizon and Sprint as neither use sim cards?

Yeah, I don't know, but on the website it shows it being used on the verizon network.  Can't remember where, but if you look on G4.com it has the new article there, as well as on engaget.com
