Well, I was trying to get to sleep about an hour ago, after a long night at work. And I saw the blasted mouse that has been evading all my methods of capture of riddance! I tried about 4 different traps, all of which he was able to elude, while taking the bait. I also tried those ultrasonic pest control thingys, that say the get rid of spiders, mice, roaches and the like.
Well, it seems to have worked on all but this one mouse, so that brings me back to this morning. I was laying in bed, and for some reason, opened my eyes, just in time to see this mouse, run out from under the bedroom closet, and behind the garbage can, then saw me awake I guess, and booked it back under the closet door. Well, he played peek-a-boo a few times, just sticking his head under the door, then back in. So, I thought, if I want it done, then I might as well do it my damn self.
So I went to the kitchen and grabbed my pellet pistol, and sat on the edge of the bed. Well, he came out, saw me then ran back in. I waited a few more minutes, then saw the tip of his nose sticking out, as a waited, he stuck a little more of his head out, so I started squeezing the trigger, and saying under my breath, come out a little further you little bastard mouse! Well after an intense standoff of about 3 minutes, he did stick his whole head out, and I pulled the trigger in, BLAM! Now the mouse is dead, in the outside garbage, with a big gaping hole in the side of his head!

So, the moral of the story is, when there is a mouse in the house, a gun in the hand is worth all the traps in the world!

Yup, now its mouse number 2s turn, I had a dream about it last night, I caught it by the tail, and kept smacking it on the driveway outside, but it wouldn't die.  After about 20 or so smacks, I let it go, and it bit my leg, then ran away.   I have a bullet with its name on it.  hehehe
