Last Sunday at Lackland... hopefully

Well today should be my last Sunday here on Lackland Air Force Base.  I was able to see Jeremy again (picture below), he's doing very well and should have no troubles graduating on time.  I wish I could have been here to see it, but that won't happen at this point.  However, I may be back in a couple weeks with his family to see him graduate.

It feel weird, I'm finally getting to go home after waiting all this time (about 2 1/2 months), and yet I feel like I'm leaving my new home.  Sure I hate it here, they treat me like crap all the time, but I have friends here that I may never get to see again.

Anyways, here's the picture.  I know it doesn't look good, it was taken with my Cell Phone.  I just like the stupid grin I got from him.  Oh well, enjoy it anyways.
P.S.  He has more hair that it appears, he's not bald, just slightly shorter hair than before.

Yeah, he oes look old but then again, he did have a receding hairline to begin with, tell him I'm not a good writer and he'll just have to wait til the 6th or 7th to hear from me

damnit! I got screwed! I guess I'm going to spend another sunday here.  Maybe I'll be lucky and it will be my last.  either way I'll check here before church and if anyone has questions or comments for Jeremy let me know.  On the plus side he will have graduated from basic training next week, then it's onto his tech school for who knows how long.  I may even be here long enough to goto his graduation!   more to come ...

I can't remember the exact name of the job Jeremy has, but it's basically 1 step below a LoadMaster.  His school lasts for 6 weeks here on Lackland. He will start on the 23rd at the 345th MTF.

I was about to get a picture of Jeremy in his 'blues' but the bus showed up to pick up everyone (it was storming really hard) and I lost my chance.  Hopefully I will be here on Wed. he will be free after about 1300 until around 1900 or 2000.  So we can goof off all day.  Plus I have Thursday off, so if I'm still here I can goto the Airmen's Run, coin ceremony, and retreat.  Then if I'm here Friday morning I will get to see him graduate from Basic Military Training.  That would be cool.

He will stay on Lackland AFB for the duration of his schooling. He would be down the street from me if it wasn't for the fact that I just got home. YAY! I'm out! FINALLY!!!

Congrats on getting out.  To bad you live in Salt Lake and all the cool people live in Tooele or TX, You must be a loner j/k.  Good to have you back and we all need to hang out sometime.  Especially when Jeremy gets back
